Let's Make a List, Shall We?

I have been toying with the idea of blogging for a while now. It seems like a good release in the world of complete exposure that we live in. Plus, I have never been a very closed book person. But what should I blog about? Who should my audience be? I still don’t have the answer. The conversations that I have with the shower wall are not helping me either.

Therefore, a list I shall make…
  • Teaching
  • Mothering
  • Cleaning (hahahahahahahaha, like I do that!)
  • Organizing (insert another obnoxious laugh)
  • Using what is probably boring writing with poor grammar/punctuation and blasting it all over the internet?...perhaps
  • Our current renovation
  • Budgeting
  • The Modern Family (being a somewhat feminist wife, with somewhat non-feminist ideas about marriage and housework)
I still have no idea, and therefore…I am just going to wing it. I am going to write what I feel like writing, when I feel like writing it. In my classroom I teach writing as an art, not a subject. My kindergarteners clap and shout and get excited when it is writing time, and I should too--gosh darn it! So why not make another list, but this time instead of bullets, use numbers? Yes, that seems like a great idea! Here I go, try to stop me.

Things my readers will most likely read about:
  1. What a mess my house is and how anxious it makes me
  2. Our current renovation of what we thought was not a fixer upper home
  3. My attempts at becoming tidy and organized
  4. Figuring out how to work full time and raise balanced children who wear matching shoes and coats without BBQ stains
Yep, I’m a kindergarten teacher…but instead of my delightful kinders, I am blogging about me. How selfish!
